Brief Step II Background: Isabel Myers noted that there were special "clusters" in response patterns. She said that while the indicator gives the type, the clusters provide insight as to the personal variations of the individual within the type. Step II provides a four letter type and scores on twenty facets. An individual may have a type preference for ENTJ but have qualities of being Reflective, Practical, Accommodating, and Emergent, all of which reflect qualities of other preferences other than those of ENTJ. The beauty of this form is that you can get closer to the whole picture of an individual's preferences and developed qualities.
