Long an integral part of team building, leadership and communication workshops, the FIRO-B® instrument is widely used for helping people understand their own behavior, and that of others, in interpersonal situations.

The FIRO-B® Masterclass Advantage Qualifying Program is a blended learning program. Complete in our web classroom study of the theory, construction, interpretation, and psychometric concepts and constructs (8-12 hrs) prior to attending a two-day Applications and Interpretation Workshop. Note that our "Weekend Warrior" program offering allows you to complete this course over a weekend.

How You Will Benefit:

  • Use your understanding of the FIRO-B® to enhance your leadership
  • Explore "best practices" in applying the FIRO-B® to strengthen an understanding of differences at work and at home
  • Discover how to use the FIRO-B® to boost communication
  • Gain a tool set for using the FIRO-B® in coaching, teaming, and development initiatives
  • Pre-workshop : Web modules: history, theory, administration, interpretation, reliability and validity.
  • Workshop : applications, presentation, and interpretation strategies. You will receive your own results, explore ways to apply the tool in development, and learn best ethical care practices.
  • Day 1: Introduction to the FIRO-B® Model, general application strategies for working with groups, best practices for using the instrument, individual interpretation experience, and getting your own results. The day ends with the qualifying exam.
  • Day 2: Three Application Modules for using the FIRO-B® when Coaching Leaders, Training Leaders, and Working with Teams. Each module will provide specific examples of exercises for using the instrument in these contexts. Supporting materials and publications are provided.
  • Post workshop : modules, bulletin board, and free community learning forums

Tuition:

$1195. Inclusive of web classroom training modules, all study materials such as the manual and booklets, participation in the workshop, and examination.

You Are Responsible for:

travel and lodging expenses and arrangements. We suggest you contact us before making non-refundable airline reservations. We will not reimburse expenses for changes.

Cancellation Policy:

If, for any reason, you must forego training after registration and payment of fees, Qualifying.Org will refund the registration fee LESS $450 for administrative/processing fees, if notification is received at least 30 days in advance of the workshop. Credit will be applied for another program, but no refund will be made if notification is received within 30 days of the workshop.

Special client-site arrangements:

Organizations with a number of individuals seeking to complete a qualifying program may find it more cost effective to arrange a two-day, client-site program.
